Papertrey Ink Make It Monday - Decreasing Apertures

It's been way too long since I last played along with the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge!

I'm back at it though, and I'm loving this week's challenge: Decreasing Apertures.

Who even knew that such a technique even existed!? I've definitely used it before...like on this card...but I just thought it was called the "Using-smaller-die-cuts-inside-of-larger-die-cuts"technique! "Decreasing Apertures" sounds a lot better and way more official!

For this challenge, I went with a simple flower layout, using the new Vine Die along with one of the dies from Limitless Layers as the "flower" portion.

I went through a ton of dimensional adhesive for this card, but I think that the finished product so fun, bright and simple - just my style!

Thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love! Come back tomorrow when I'll share my cards for a super fun blog hop!!

Have a great day!

Supplies:
Stamps:  PTI Wonderful Words Additions
Paper: PTI (Orange Zest,  Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse, Royal Velvet) Michaels (purple cardstock)
Ink: Stampin Up Elegant Eggplant
Other: PTI (Limitless Layers Die collection, Wonderful Words, Vine Die), Spellbinders Standard circles dies, jute twine

  7. FUN!!! Love this colorful flower. And yeah "Decreasing Apertures" sounds so much more "official" and "smart" than "using smaller and smaller dies" (which is what I would totally say)
