CAS-ual Friday - The Long and Short of It #2

Could it be that I'm back with another CAS-ual Friday creation!?

Truth is, I have wanted to make this card for a few days but couldn't come up with a good way to execute it!

See, as I was doing some serious wedding pinteresting, I came across this cake:

Seriously, HOW FAB! I would love to have this cake at my wedding! Since we probably won't have it for our big day, I figured the next best thing would be to translate this fabulous design into a card!

I wasn't sure how to pull it off...until the CAS-ual Friday Challenge reminded me that a longer, vertical card may just be the perfect layout.

I just die cut a bunch of letters ...then of course I had to add a little  Damask Love flair with a punny sentiment! I'm loving how this one turned out!

(please excuse the terrible photos - the lighting had to be a little dim to capture the white-on-white letters!)

Hope you enjoy this little project and that you'll come back tomorrow for another card!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love!

Supplies:

Stamps: PTI (Sending You, Simple Alphabet)
Paper: PTI (Soft stone, Pure Poppy, white)

  5. This is just so clever. I kept looking at the letters to see if there was a hidden message. (Is there a hidden message). I think the card is BETTER than the cake.
