For Your Inspiration Challenge #11



It's been a while since I played along in a new challenge, so today is the day! I'll keep today's post short, since I am completely, totally, 100% out of funny things to say. I'm pretty sure I packed up my personality along with my brain.

Today, I'm throwing my hat card into the "For Your Inspiration" challenge.

I took this inspiration image..


And went with a modern, graphic interpretation...




I got creative with my dies and trimmed away some of the PTI vine border to create a tree trunk! And since I don't own the PTI cloud die, I use the Fillable Frame #5 die to create a simple sky...I actually love how it turned out...a very modern and clean version of a cloud!

For that little birdy, I wanted a bold silhouette, so I stamped a bird image from the Clear and Simple Stamps Tweet Note set on the back side, then cut it out. Really easy...because Lord knows I could not cut that out freehand!

    This is gorgeous, Amber. I love the graphic look. I would never have thought to use a scallop rectangle for a cloud, but it works so well!

    I'm still sulking that the vine border die was out of stock when I last ordered :(!! Great use of shape and colour - your definately hitting my CAS soft spot!
