CAS-ual Fridays and Embellish Magazine Challenge

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....efficiency is NOT my thing! So, imagine my surprise when I managed to combine two challenges into one card!

I know that  people combine challenges all the time, but I've never done it before.

For this card, I combined the current CAS-usal Friday Challenge with the current Embellish Magazine Color Trends Challenge.

I kept things clean and simple (shocker, right?!) and came up with a fun little daisy embellishment for a fun focal image on the card.

 

 

I broke out my PTI Half & Half die for this card, and added a simple detail to the back of the card, by just folding the die cut over.  Super simple...but adds a nice little something different, ya know?

And just in case you're wondering...here's  a quick toot for making that daisy...

 

I die cut a bunch of circles, then used my craft knife to score two slightly angled lines.

 

Fold the circles on the scored lines, to form the petals.

 

 Arrange the petals around a glittered, glue-dot center and you're done!

Ink: Colorbox Orchid, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye

Paper: PTI (white, Simply Chartreuse)

Other: Zots, yellow glitter, Spellbinders circle dies, PTI dies (Half & Half, Turning a New Leaf)
