Celebrities receive awards, students receive awards - why should colors be left out of the club?!



Color is a hugely important part of papercrafting, so what better way to celebrate the year than by featuring the 2011 Pantone Color of the Year: Honeysuckle.



Now, I'm gonna be honest - didn't even know about the Pantone Color of the Year until recently, but I'm so glad I'm up to date on it. I love seeing how fashion designers, interior decorators and crafters interpret the color of the year in their own way.



Before we showcase the upcoming 2012 color of the year, today, I'm taking the opportunity to feature Honeysuckle as it enjoys just a few more days as the star of the color wheel. As I searched through my cardstock I found that Clear and Simple Stamps offers a perfect match called Coral Necklace.

DIRECTIONS:
1) Stamp background onto A Blanc Check cardstock  in Coral Necklace and Green with Envy ink, then stamp sentiment in Perfect Little Black Dress ink.
2) Adhere rhinestones and wrap Coral Necklace ribbon around white layer and secure loop with a matching Coral Necklace button and twine.
3) Adhere white layer to Coral Necklace card base with dimensional adhesive.
