Lily Pad Sketch Challenge

I was browsing some of my favorite blogs and happened upon a fabulous sketch challenge at Lily Pad Cards.

The sketch screamed clean and simple, which we all know is just my style.

Lately, I've been really loving the whole graphic aesthetic...so I took this sketch as another opportunity to employ some clean, graphic images.

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take on it!

I interpreted the sketch a little differently (shocker, right?), by translating the three strips into three layers behind the PTI Simple Circles border die.

I was inspired by the gorgeous fabric by Osborne & Little...one of my favorite fabric designers and great source of paper crafting inspo!
