In the mood for minis...

Hi everyone!

It's been killing me that I don't get to update the bloggo daily! Between wedding planning, moving, work and this ridiculous thing called "sleep" - I have had exactly .02 seconds to dedicate to blogging! ARGH!

I can't wait until all the boxes are unpacked and I can get back into the swing of things. Last night, I seriously contemplated throwing the boxes right over the balcony...at least that would clear them out of our place!

Then I realized that throwing them off the balcony is probably illegal...would land me in jail...and I'm pretty sure they don't do stamping or blogging in jail.

So anywho...here I am with a fun project that I made after THIS post. I was in the mood for mini cards...so I kept going.

I was inspired by my love of color blocking and stripes...

I went with neutral blocks of color on the front of the cards, then let a bright piece of cardstock peek out from behind the die cut word.

These minis were easy to make and are perfect for a quick thank you note!

Thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love!!!

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Thank You: Inside and Out
Ink: Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black
Cardstock: PTI (Fine Linen, True Black, White, Smokey Shadow, Raspberry Fizz, Simply Chartreuse, Orange Zest)
Other: PTI Wonderful Words dies

  2. STUN.NING.

You sure know how to work those word dies, seriously!!!

These look like something you'd find in an upscale paper boutique for big $. And then someone like you or I would look at them and go, "I could totally make that", but the civilian we were with would be so over the moon and in love that they'd buy three packs.

I hope sanity resumes soon! Well... it won't until after the wedding, but...

Try to enjoy the process, you only get to do it once! And hey, it's really just another party on just another day. The stuff that "goes wrong" are the things that make great stories for years to come, and they're the moments that make it YOURS.

And your guests will never know the tiny details that didn't work the way you intended. Only you will, and it will still be gorgeous!

    How's that for unsolicited advice?

  3. These are amazing. They are so simple, yet so PERFECT. I wish I thought of them. But since I didn't, I'll just pin and CASE!! Good luck with all the drama in your life. Years ago, I changed jobs, moved from SF to San Diego, got married and bought my first house, all at the SAME time (think looking for a fax machine on an Italian countryside honeymoon to close loan docs!) and I can say that it is great to get it all over and done with at once. I didn't know how to make cards, then. That might have put me over the edge. You seem super sweet and smart, and I know you'll get through with flying colors.
