2 Minute Birthday Boy Card

We are in the middle of moving, and I'm pretty sure I packed up my brain somewhere because I'm 100% certain that I've lost my mind.

I am operating at an entirely new level of craziness right now - and for me, who is usually pretty high on the crazy scale...that is saying A LOT!

So...in the midst of wedding planning, moving, selling furniture and redecorating our new home....I managed to pump out a quick card for my friend's son's birthday!

I was inspired by this Papertrey Ink Stamp-A-Faire challenge. I was lucky enough to actually make this card at the event, and I love the simplicity of cutting a few inches back from the card front to create a fun card that is slightly different from what I usually do.

So....I got a little crafty with one of my border dies and created this one layer card...

I used the PTI Large Scallops border die, then stamped the circles from Boy Basics: Simple Circles to fill in the front. Turns out that the stamps and border match PERFECTLY.

Then, I just stamped the sentiment beneath the border, which is actually the inside of the card. Super simple...but super fun.

Even with all the craziness going on right now, I was able to make this card...which means you can too!

Oh...and one more thing about the move...did I mention that I will have my very own craft room in our new place?!  I am so excited to have a whole room for crafting...I'm not sure that Andrew is as excited since I'm pretty certain that the room will be strewn in glitter and paper scraps...but he'll get used to it!

I'll be sure to share photos of the craft room process!!!

Thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love!

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI (Boy Basics: Simple Cirlces, Birthday Bash Sentiments)
Paper: PTI white cardstock
Ink: Stampin Up (Delightful Daffodil, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Real Red)
Other: PTI Large Scallop Border Die

  5. "Super simple...but super fun" and you forgot to add super cute! I love it!!! Love. It.

You, my friend, are all kinds of kuh-razy. {read the following in your best cheerleader-type voice} "Honey, I have a great idea! While we're in the midst of planning one of the biggest days of our lives, let's add another stressor! Let's MOVE!!" {clap like a cheerleader while you say that last sentence and have that big "Go Team! I'm on TV!" smile on your face, too...man, I'd be an awesome director, move over Quentin T!} But hoorah on the craft room!!! It needs a chandelier. I'm pretty sure of that. Remind Andrew that I'm the internet friend who loves him most when you tell him I said that. ;)
