Embellish Magazine Color Trends Challenge - Music

I am quickly becoming addicted to the Embellish Magazine Color Trend Challenges!

Ashley Newell manages to select color combinations and themes that are wonderfully paired, but still a challenge to work with - and I love a challenge!

As soon as I saw this week's challenge, I had to participate! Why? 

Well - I love the colors - but I REALLY love French Macaroons!!!!

I just love the picture Ashley chose for the inspiration banner...so before I got started on my card for the challenge, I walked across the street to the Chocolatier, where they sell lots of yumminess, including these:

Now that we've gotten that out of the way - here's my card for the challenge.

I went with a simple layout, staying true to my style - but I added a vintage feel with tea-dyed edges and a Rustic Cream  and Kraft card base.

The colors I chose are slightly brighter hues than the ones in the inspiration photo - but bright is the Damask Love way of doing things!

The circles are adhered with varying thicknesses of foam adhesive, adding some depth to the project.
