Monograms Made Easy...My first Ella Article

Hi friends,

I've got a brief but exciting post for you today  - AND a simple bonus project that you might just like!

First let's get to the exciting part of today's post:

I've had the wonderful opportunity to write and article and create a group of projects to be featured at Ella Publishing. How fun is that?!

Today, the article entitled, Monograms Made Easy went live and you should definitely take a trip over there to check it out! I'm a huge fan of monogrammed stationery, so I had a great time creating these card sets.

Here's a peek at one of my monogram projects featured in the article. You'll find four other card ideas along with supplies and instructions in the Ella Article ....(and if you keep scrolling through this post, you'll find another bonus monogram project that you won't see over at Ella)

Be sure you head over the Ella Publishing to see all the details for this card set! It's my favorite of the cards I created and I think you may agree!!

Now for the bonus project...

For this simple set of one-layer stationery, I used Papertrey Ink's Delightful Doilies set and stamped off the bottom corner of a Vintage Cream cardbase.
I love the engravers font included in several of PTI's recent sets, so I masked the "Warm Wishes" sentiment from Holiday Photo Finishers . Maybe someone will come out with an engraver's font alphabet set, but until then, this masking technique works perfectly for monogramming!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll check out my article! And if you're up to it, I'd love to hear what you think about the projects or any ideas you have for other projects to be featured at Ella. I'm chomping at the bit to create more!!!

And FYI there is an engraver's font stamp set. I've had my eye on it. It is by Teresa Collins and is called Blingage Alphabet.
