Clear and Simple Stamps December Style Watch #5

Well, here we are - the last issue of SW for 2011. I have had a great time being your editor and I can't wait to continue on into the new year with new product, projects and inspiration.
Before we close out 2011, I thought it would be fun to showcase an up and coming trend that will surely be a star during 2012.

What trend am I talking about? Hexagons!!

Slowly but surely, this fun shape has been showing up throughout the world of papercrafting and I just love the look of it. You can make it modern or vintage, shabby or simple.

For today's project, I'm giving you a little peek at a background stamp set that will be available at CSS very soon...and I promise you this...you are going to LOVE it! I know I do.

In addition to the hexagon pattern, today's project also includes a fun new way to use your tag dies from Clear and Simple stamps!

See you in 2012, Loverlies!

Amber D.

To create the double ended tag for this box, I simply ran the paper through my die cutting machine twice.
die cut once...
then flip around and die cut again...
easy peasy mac and cheesy!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a safe and wonderful New Year's Eve!
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Stamp background on strip of paper and wrap around package.
  2. Die cut tag (instructions available on Damask Love)
  3. Stamp bee and sentiment
  4. Tie tag to package with twine and finish off by threading twine through two buttons and tying a simple bow.
