Embellish Color Trends Challenge: Banners

Today I'm taking a break from the requisite holiday themed cards and playing along with the Embellish Color Trends Challenge.

The colors are beautiful and I love the challenge of incorporating a banner into my design since it's not something I typically do!

For the banner portion of my card, I used the Spellbinders Shapebilities Ribbon Banner Dies, which I love! To create some dimension on the ribbon banner, I used a little tea dye distressing ink on the edges.

For the stamping component, I really wanted to give a little folk artsy feel to the card, which I think I achieved.

Last - a coordinating envelope liner provided a fun backdrop for the card.

I popped the banner up with dimensional adhesive - because a card isn't complete until you've used some dimensional adhesive!

That's all from me for today! Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI (Sending You for the leaf images, Botanical Silhouettes for the flower images, Mat Stack 4 collection for sentiment, Background Basics: Gingham for envelope liner)
Ink: Impress Ink (Silver Lilac, Mojito, Chocolate, Chamomile), Stampin Up (Elegant Eggplant), Versafine (Habanero) PTI (Tea Dye Duo for distressing edges of the banner)
Cardstock: PTI (Rustic Cream)
Other: Spellbinders Shapeabilities Ribbon Banner dies, PTI Kraft envelope
