Hey there everyone!!!
I finally got around to creating a couple of cards for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop! I've been hanging around the house all day - recovering from yesterday's food fest! Even though I'm a little tardy for the party, I knew I had to play along with this month's hop - the inspirational photo just has so much to offer!
Upon seeing this photo, I immediately zoomed in one of those beautifully wrapped presents on the step and decided to design a card using the same layout...
I just love the non-traditional colors for the first card. For the snowflake, I covered a piece of cardstock, sprinkled on some of my favorite glitter by Sprinkle 'n' Sparkle, then used my Martha Stewart Snowflake punch!
I opted to leave out the sentiment for this card so that the glittery snowflake could stand out on it's own!
I was really inspired by the non traditional colors that I created another card using a similar palette. I used my new Alpha Block dies - and I must say - I LOVE THEM!!!!! I mean, I love them MUCHO! I used the negative image of the die to create this simple but fun layout! Each letter fit perfectly in a 1" die cut square.
