Paper Crafts Connection - Color Inspiration Challenge #6



As promised, a little more red, white and blue for you today!

But this time, I deviated from the patriotic theme for a little something unexpected!

Don't be sad though, more patriotic goodness will be popping up around here...I can feel it!

For now though, I'm entering my card into the current Paper Crafts Connection Color Inspiration Challenge #6... the colors are fab, so you should play along too!




Today's card is a lil shout out to my most favoritest movie of all time...The Wizard of Oz (well, right up there with my other fave: Troop Beverly Hills.  If you know about Troop Beverly Hills - we can officially be best friends!!) 


Anyway, I L.O.V.E. The Wizard of Oz. When I was a kid, it was the only movie I would watch. I memorized the whole movie and no one else would watch it with me because I would say all the lines...pretty obnoxious now that I think about it.

To this day, I get really excited when The Wizard of Oz comes on television.

Anyway, here's a little red, white and blue lovin' ...Wizard of Oz style!




Oh, what I wouldn't do for a sparkly red pair of flats!!! I'm adding that to my never ending shoe wishlist!

    I just squealed! I love Wizard of Oz (in all it's incarnations...the movie, The Wiz, Wicked...) and I *love* that you didn't do patriotic with the color scheme - even though I love patriotic stuff, too. Wonderful!!

    I love this card. I hate the Wizard of Oz, but I feel we can work through this and still be friends, because I love Dorothy's shoes, and I think your card, with it's blue gingham dress, is awesome. :)

    Love Wizard of Oz(my toddler has red sparkly shoes!) and love this idea! You come up with the most creative ideas, truly inspirational! I loved Troop Beverly Hills, it's been a long time since I thought of that movie!
