Denami Designs Product Spotlight - Father

Today, the Denami team is shining the spotlight on a great sentiment stamp that is perfect for Father's Day!


This stamp is a biggy and great for a stand alone sentiment. 

For my card, I CASED a design that I recently saw while walking around a local shopping area. I don't know the designer of the card, but as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to recreate it!




To make the hanger, I ransacked my jewelry-making stash and found some 18-gauge wire. Using a pair of jewelry-making pliers, I shaped the wire into a cutesy little hanger. 

As much as I love this hanger, I am NOT a fan of wire hangers. They leave nasty shoulder puckers on my shirts and a heinous crease in my pants. They sag in the middle and....well...you get the point. Suffice it to say: Joan Crawford and I share the same opinion of wire hangers. 

For the sake of crafting though...I can handle a little wire hanger action.

    You seem young to know who Joan Crawford is. However, I do agree with you, wire hangers are only good for opening a car door.
    I love your card. I have been thinking of making a tie card for my dad.

    NO WIRE HANGERS IN THE CLOSET!!!! I literally snorted when I read your post. (behind on reading, sorry for two comments back-to-back) However, I didn't snort when I saw your card. It's totally faboo!! I'm needing to make a couple of Father's Day cards and I really like this one! I may CASE it! :)
