Clear & Simple Stamp - Style Watch: Nesting...

Who says paper crafts are just for cards?! NOT ME!!! Keep reading for this week's issue of Style Watch where I channel my inner Barefoot Contessa and use the newly released Tweet Notes set to make a cute baby shower favor!

WEEK 2: Nesting  {June. 11}

Cats have their lair, ants have their hill and birds have their nests. I’m not holding my breath for lairs and anthills to catch on in the crafting world, but nest images are seen across tons of crafting projects. Whether modern or vintage, birds nests are a go-to in card-making and beyond.

This month’s Tweet Notes set features the sweetest little nest and egg images that can be layered for baby shower invitations or even house warming cards.  The set also includes sentiments to spur your creativity.

To keep things interesting, I am showcasing the Tweet Notes set in a non-card project that I hope will inspire you to use your stamps in a fun, new way.  There’s even a recipe included for you to download and give a try - you’ll definitely want to check it out…

Until later, Loverlies

With an easy coconut macroon recipe (see below), I made these little nests that are perfect party favors or place cards. A few speckled jelly beans add the perfect touch to this "tweet" project!

DIRECTIONS:
Stamp bird image on A Blanc Check cardstock in Perfect Little Black Dress ink, color with markers and cut out.
Stamp sentiment in Perfect Little Black Dress ink on strip of A Blanc Check cardstock and create banner end with square punch.
Layer banner on I'm a Princess Pink cardstock.
Adhere banner and bird to toothpick.
Insert toothpick in cookies and place jelly beans.
