Denami Girly Girl Blog Hop

**This is my second post of the day! Scroll down to see the first post**

This is my very first Denami Designs Blog Hop and I am so excited!! This is gonna be fun!

The theme is "Girly Girl" which is totally appropriate, since today is Mother's Day!

What girl doesn't love to receive flowers? So today, my project is all about a fun bouquet of bright flowers...but these flowers have a sweet little twist!

Behind each of these little flowers is a special treat! A homemade chocolate lollipop - and they are SO SO easy to make! Here's the step-by-step:
  • I cut notches into the sides of a candy mold so that I could place the sticks. You can also purchase lollipop molds with this notch already in place, but there weren't any available when I was at Michael's
  • Fill each mold with melted chocolate. I use Candy Melts by Wilton - you can just melt it in the microwave!
  • Place filled molds in the freezer and they'll harden in no time and pop the candies of of the mold.

  • Wrap each chocolate lollipop with plastic wrap and secure back with a circle sticker (I simply punched circles from a sheet of adhesive paper)

  •  Adhere stamped flower and leave image to the front of each lollipop and assemble the bouquet in a terracotta pot!

And here's a view from the back of the bouquet!

Chocolate + Flowers ...doesn't get much more girly than that, right!?

Now for your next stop on the Denami Girly Girl Blog Hop.... Amy Smidebush
