Clear and Simple Stamps Style Watch: Baby Couture

Who says high fashion is just for grown ups?

With the newly released Baby Fashions stamp set, you can create the most adorable cards featuring sweet images of onesies, dresses and coveralls! Oh - and did I mention that there are coordinating dies?

Moms everywhere are decking out their little ones in adorable fashions that rival anything you could find on a runway. What better way to share a fun gift than by giving the mom-to-be a gift card to her favorite baby boutique? And of course, you'll need to package that gift card in style.

That is exactly what I'm doing with today's project. From the outside, this trifold card may look demure and unsuspecting, but once you open it up, you'll find tons of pizazz and fun.

Along with today's project, I even have a few tips for creating a quick gift card pocket to add on to any card. Just take a trip over to my blog, Damask Love for full details!

Until Later Loverlies,
Amber D

For this tri-fold card, I decorated the outside using images from Taglines and the newly released Shower Sentiments - and left the images uncolored. You'll see why next!

The belly band for this card came together with a simple strip of cardstock along with the Labels 3 Die and border stamp.

Then...when it's time to open this trifold card...

How fun is that! Using the clothing images from Baby Couture, I created a little clothes line to hang across the card and tucked behind is, is a cute sentiment and a pocket holding a gift card!

To create the gift card holder, I simply "wrapped" the card with cardstock and punched a notch at the top with a small circle punch. It was really simple to create a card holder this way, without pulling out my scoreboard!

And one last peek before I go!

Thanks for stopping by Style Watchers!!!

  6. Love this idea. How does it look when you close one side up? Just wondering if when it's closed, the clothing hangs down below?
