Get Well Card - done the CAS way

I don't make many "Get Well" cards for my stash.

Mainly, it's because I don't have many friends or family who need to receive them (which is a blessing!)

Also - I always feel like "Get Well" cards need to be florally and formal looking. I don't know why I think that, but I do. Just add it to the list of "Amber's Ridiculous Theories About Life."

Well, while I was playing with my Background Basics: Circles stamp set by Papertrey Ink, I came up with a very clean, simple and modern design for a "Get Well" card.

This card is super duper simple, but I do have one tip: Stamp the "raindrops" first then the umbrella. I didn't use a mask for this card, and that is because I didn't want to have any "half circles in the "raindrop pattern - know what I mean?

Instead, I stamped the dots first, eyeballing the amount of white space I needed to leave for the umbrella. This way I ended up with an even pattern of complete dots.

Hope that makes some sense!

Okee Dokee, friends! Have a great day! I'll see you tomorrow with another issue of the Clear and Simple Stamps Style Watch issue!

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:

  10. How do you do it? You are ridiculously talented, my friend. And no, we didn't have lemonade...we went a little wild and crazy with cranberry juice and club soda. Joan even brought Diet Coke. Woohoo! :)
